The Hönes cuckoo clock factory was founded in 1950 by Daniel Hönes at Adlerstrasse 6 Titisee-Neustadt in the Black Forest Region of Germany.

In 1969 production was moved to Bahnhofstrasse 12 Titisee-Neustadt
1984 the company was bought by Wolfgang Trenkle the present owner, his inovative designs and attention to quality & detail has made the Hönes cuckoo clock factory one of the best known & respected names in the world.
One of the unique things about the production of these quality cuckoo clocks, is the use of outworkers making idividual carvings in their own home workshops. The carvings are then collected from all the outworkers & the clocks are assembled in their own workshops.
As a member of the VDS (Black Forest Clock Association) the workmanship of these cuckoo clocks is of a very high standard. The link below will take you to their website where you can see all the latest information.

In the Hönes workshop each clock is tested & timed by the clockmakers to ensure you get a perfect quality Black Forest cuckoo clock.

The clocks are then individually prepared for packing and sending out to customers all over the world.

Hones Cuckoo Clocks are original Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks. They are driven by a mechanical clock movement and all their main components are produced in the Black Forest. This means that all the clocks fulfill the quality requirements of the VDS (Black Forest Clock Association)
